About Vic

Hey there!

I'm Vic, the artist behind Little Daydreamer.

Little Daydreamer sprang to life in 2022 under the rather unimaginative moniker of "Vix Draws Stuff" (Yes yes, not the pinnacle of creativity, but hey! Don't judge! Naming is HARD). It was my Instagram baby, born out of a burning desire to take my art to the next level. Trust me, it wasn't my first try putting my art out into the universe, but thankfully, it turned out to be the last.

Finding my artistic style was like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded—tough! I wrestled with the concept of "my style" for what felt like eons. There were moments when I almost threw in the towel entirely—heck, some days I still do. I poured much of my time into deciphering what people liked, what they'd throw their hard-earned cash at (hello, budding entrepreneur!), and neglected the most crucial question: what style truly spoke to my soul?

Then, in 2023, it clicked. I stumbled upon a style that felt like an extension of my very being, and I dived in headfirst. Looking back now, it's hilarious how pixel art was staring me in the face all along. I mean, come on, I practically grew up with a controller in hand, lost in fantastical realms of pixels and sprites. My artwork has always gravitated towards the whimsical, the otherworldly. Pixel art used to intimidate me, until one day I decided to stare intimidation in the eye and give it a whirl. And what do you know? Lightning struck.

So here we are now in 2024, under a new, more creative name. I'm making fun, whimsical pixel art that makes me feel cozy and inspired, and I couldn't be happier.

I hope it makes you feel cozy too.
